Wallcreeper

Wallcreeper

Signed, limited edition print of a wallcreeper. Printed from a digital drawing onto Marrutt archival paper.

The Wallcreeper is a rock-climbing, long-billed, insectivorous nuthatch of remote Eurasian mountains. In flight, the wallcreeper looks like a strangely coloured Hoopoe, but they nest in rock crevices, laying 4-5 speckled white eggs, which are incubated by the female, earning them a name in Chinese which translates as "Rock Flower".

This is an unframed print from a run of 300. Available in two sizes: A4 (210x297mm) and A5 (148x210mm).
