Signed, limited edition print of a swallow. Printed from a digital drawing onto Marrutt archival paper.
Swallows migrate to the northern hemisphere in the summer and can be found in the UK between March and October anywhere near water or farmland where there's a tasty supply of grubs. Their distinctive body shape evolved for manoeuvrability and endurance when hunting insects. Swallows have nested in man made buildings for thousands of years, Virgil’s Georgics (29BC) references the 'twittering swallow [hanging] its nest from the rafters.'
This is an unframed print from a run of 300. Available in two sizes: A4 (210x297mm) and A5 (148x210mm).
