Signed, limited edition print of a magpie. Printed from a digital drawing onto Marrutt archival paper.

Magpies are a member of the Corvidae family, widely considered to be one of the most intelligent animals in the world and one of the only non-mammals to recognise themselves in a mirror test. Their reputation in folklore varies across the world - in East Asian culture they are a symbol of good luck and good fortune - in Europe, a thief, reputed to collect shiny objects. The famous nursery rhyme goes: 'One for sorrow, two for joy, three for a girl and four for a boy, five for silver, six for gold, seven for a secret never to be told.'

This is an unframed print from a run of 300. Available in two sizes: A4 (210x297mm) and A5 (148x210mm).
