The Liverpool Liver Building
Signed, limited edition fine art print of the Liverpool Liver Building. Printed from a digital drawing onto Marrutt archival paper.
The Liver Building is a Grade 1 listed building that forms one third of the Three Graces which line Liverpool's waterfront. Designed by Walter Aubrey Thomas - who was responsible for several other notable buildings in the city including the Crane and Tower buildings - the Liver Building was opened in 1911. On top of each of the two towers are mythical liver birds, designed by Carl Bernard Bartels. The birds are said to look to the sea and land in order to protect the people of Liverpool and those setting out on voyages.
