Built in 1966 to house the growing number of undergraduates, the Kenyon Building was named after the then Principal of the college, Kathleen Kenyon. The building was designed by David Roberts, a Modernist architect, responsible for a huge number of projects in Cambridge. The Kenyon Building is now Grade 2 listed and continues as a site of accommodation for second year students.
