Signed, limited edition print of a dickcissel. Printed from a digital drawing onto Marrutt archival paper.
The dickcissel is a small American seed-eating bird, most commonly found in tall grasslands like prairies and hayfields. Although currently classified as part of the cardinal family, it has been problematic to taxonomists trying to find its closest relatives. Their bizarre common name comes from their song which sounds like a sharp click followed by an 'electrical buzzing'.
This is an unframed print from a run of 300. Available in two sizes: A4 (210x297mm) and A5 (148x210mm).
