Creation and editorial design of three-part magazine
I worked on IRIS from March 2016-March 2017. It was the flagship publication on an independent publishing house, Hurst Street Press that I co-founded. The magazine was a collection of original visual art, prose, poetry and criticism from local artists and writers.
Each edition was limited to 300 copies, and each copy was handbound in a letterpress printed cover and wrapped in an individually marbled band. Here you can see samples of the layout, including the letterpress block I designed for the inside cover.
See IRIS: illustrations for details on the illustration work I did for the first edition.
